VCCI Holds Training Course on Decision-making Skills, Financial Report Analysis

In a bid to help enterprises to take more active role in their businesses, heighten their independency on decision-making skills vis-à-vis capital investment and quantification of profitability and success, and internationalise corporate financial statements, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has collaborated with Vietstar Training JSC and AITMA Association (USA) to organise a training course on “Skills to make wise decisions - analysing financial statement and planning.
 
Professor Don Wort, financier at California University, will lecture this course. He used to lecture many bachelor, master and doctor courses in many universities in the United States like Illinois University in Urbana-Champaign and Michigan State University. In addition to lecturing, he also works for the Urbana City Council, Illinois and he is the co-author of the book titled Equity analysis and portfolio management and many other publications.
 
The course will take place from April 22 to 23, 2009 (from 8:30 a.m.) at Conference Room 3, 7th Floor, VCCI Building: No. 9 Dao Duy Anh Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi. Trainees are leaders, financial officials, executives and auditors of companies and business associations.
 
Companies and industry associations are invited to send representatives to the course. The examinees will be scored for certification in the United States. The tuition, which is VND6 million/person in VCCI member companies and VND6.5 million/person in non-VCCI member companies, needs to be settled by April 15, 2009. The certificate is granted by AITMA Association (USA).
