Spectacular Activities to Take Place at Dalat Flower Festival 2010
Dalat Flower Festival 2010 will take place from January 1 to 5, instead of opening in December as scheduled before. The theme this year is “Dalat Flower Festival welcome the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi 2010”.
The festival will be the first national cultural event in 2010, opening a range of activities to celebrate the 1000 year of Thang Long-Hanoi. The opening ceremony of the festival entitled “Dalat flower-colour of cool region” will take place on January 2 next year. The festival, which will happens in Dalat city and part of Duc Trong district, will include many special cultural activities to honour the value of flower and flower growers.
This will be a chance for flower growers in Dalat to exchange experience with friends nationwide and across the world. The festival is also expected to promote Dalat, a friendly, beautiful and dynamic Central Highlands city, with famous tourism resorts. The festival taking place every two years is the pride of Dalat people. The 3rd festival will bring visitors and many attractive programmes in an atmosphere full of flower flavour.
