Vietnam Province Reports Disbursement of US$540M FDI in Jan-August

The southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau estimated disbursements of foreign direct investment (FDI) at US$540 million in the first eight months of this year, up 35% from a year ago.
 
Between January and August, the province attracted US$6.48 billion in FDI, ranking the first nationwide.
 
Foreign investors have to date disbursed US$4.6 billion in the province, accounting for 18.5% of the locality’s total registered FDI of US$25.15 billion.
 
Ba Ria-Vung Tau province targets to draw US$2.8 billion in FDI this year against over US$1.4 billion last year. (Investment)
