Vietnam’s Gemstone Export Estimates Up 269.3% to US$2.68B in Jan-Oct
Vietnam is estimated to have exported US$2.68 billion worth of gemstones, precious metals and jewelries in the first ten months of 2009, up 269.3% from a year earlier, the government’s General Statistic Office said on Oct. 27.
In October, the country is estimated to have earned US$25 million from exporting gemstones, precious metals and jewelries, down 3.8% on month. (GSO Oct 2009)
