Vietnam Jan-Oct Seafood Export Down 8.7% to $3.488B
Vietnam has exported $3.488 billion worth of seafood products in the first ten months of 2009, down 8.7% from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office (GSO) estimated.
In Oct, the country exported $450 million worth of the product, up from $426 million in Sep.
The country spent $230 million on aquatic imports in Jan-Oct 2009, a decrease of 11.2% against the same period of 2008. (GSO Oct Edition)
