Vietnam Exports to Taiwan Drop 28% to $783.8M in Jan-Sept
Vietnam exported $783.8 million worth of goods to Taiwan in the first nine months of this year, dropping 28% from a year earlier.
Among Vietnam’s exports, apparel took the lead with $161.69 million during the period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said on its website without giving on-year comparative figure.
It was followed by seafood with $69.73 million, rice with $54.58 million and machines and equipment with $44.84 million.
Vietnam exported $1.4 billion worth of goods to Taiwan and imported $8.3 billion in 2008, resulting in its huge trade deficit of $6.9 billion. (Vinanet)
