Vietnam Exports to Turkey Drop 34% to US$187M in Jan-Sept

Vietnam reaped US$187 million from exported goods in the first nine months of this year, dropping 34% from a year earlier.
 
The country’s plastic products incurred the highest on-year fall in export value of 76% to US$1.26 million, followed by rubber down 48% to US$9.5 million, and pepper down 28% to US$3.87 million, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.
 
Apparel was Vietnam’s biggest cash earner with US$42.95 million during the period, the ministry said, adding that plastic materials and footwear came the second and third with respective values of US$16.95 million and US$11.32 million. (Vinanet)
