S.Korean Firms to Seek Investment Opportunities in Vietnam

A delegation of 20 companies from South Korea will visit Vietnam from January 11 to seek investment opportunities.
 
The South Korean and Vietnamese businesses will attend a meeting to seek cooperative opportunities and boost investment cooperation.
 
At the meeting, the Vietnamese firms will call on the partners to invest in construction in local industrial parks.
 
Vietnam now has 133 industrial parks and export processing zones on a combined of 57,264 hectares, most of which are located in the southern provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City.
 
As of last September, South Korea invested into 2,284 projects totaling US$22.4 billion in Vietnam, ranking the second among 88 countries and territories. (Vietnam Economic Times)
