HCM City to Launch 6th Tourism Festival

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the HCM City Tourism Association will organise the 6^th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival from April 8 to April 11, 2010 at Cultural Park 23/9.

This is a chance for localities and travel firms to introduce and offer travel products and services at attractive prices to increase the travel demand in the city and surrounding residential areas and is a place to provide information about reputed travel brands and tourist sites nationwide to consumers.

Main activities include tourism fair, southern cuisine festival, folk song contest, “Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, My Love” music show, golden tourism voice singing contest 2010, photo contest, presentation contest, Vietnam Travel Festival 2010.

The organisers will erect around 150 booths for localities, travel firms, tourism schools, airlines and other tourism promotion agencies to introduce products, services, tourist sites, advices, etc.

In addition, the sixth Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will include many other cultural and artistic performances.
