Spanish Biz to Seek Investment Opportunities in Vietnam
Twenty five Spanish leading companies specializing in areas of environment, transport infrastructure and energy will arrive in Vietnam this week to look for investment opportunities.
During the trip, Iberian companies will meet local firms at the “Vietnam-Spain Multilateral Partnership” events, held by Spanish embassy and Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) to boost investment ties between two sides.
Many Spanish famous businesses including ALG, Alstom, Befesa Agua, CAF, Centunion and Comsa will set footnotes in Vietnam during the trip.
As of mid-December, Spanish firms poured only US$18.5 million into seven projects in Vietnam, ranking 55th among countries making direct investment in the Southeast Asian country. (VIR)
