Vietnam H1 Exports to South Korea +35% to $1.2B: GSO
Vietnam fetched $1.2 billion from exported goods to South Korea in the first half of this year, up 35% from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office said.
Steel and iron, apparel, seafood and crude oil were Vietnam’s main exports to South Korea during the period.
Trade between Vietnam and South Korea is forecast to increase to $10 billion in 2010, Chairman of the Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) Ju-Tae Lee said at a meeting in late May.
Vietnam and South Korea target to boost their trade to $20 billion in 2015 from $9 billion in 2009. (GSO)
