100 Vietnamese Biz to Attend CAEXPO 2010 in China in October
About 100 Vietnamese businesses will participate in the seventh China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2010) to take place in Guangxi province’s Nanning city from October 20-24.
Various kinds of Vietnamese products such as farm produce, leather shoes, home appliances, wooden furniture, and handicrafts will be displayed on a site of 3,240 square meters of 170 pavilions at the five-day event.
The Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade will cover all booth rental for the exhibitors. The expo will be a good opportunity for Vietnamese firms to boost their exports to the neighboring nation.
Vietnam and China are trying to raise the bilateral trade to US$25 billion this year from US$21.35 billion in 2009.
The two-way trade rose to US$11.9 billion in the first half of this year, including Vietnam’s trade deficit of US$6.3 billion, making up 93.61% of the Southeast Asian nation’s sum. (Vneconomy.vn)
