VCCI to Make Market Surveys in Osaka and Fukuoka, Japan

4:19:03 PM | 7/14/2011

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will organise a business delegation to survey markets and attend trade and investment promotion forums in Osaka and Fukuoka, Japan from August 21 to 27, 2011.

Osaka and Fukuoka are two dynamic and fast-growing markets in Japan. Particularly, Fukuoka has a favourable geographical location and suitable economic characteristics for Vietnamese enterprises. This is an untapped market where thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are operating in spearhead industries like automotive, biotechnology, environment, supporting industries, garment and seafood. Following disastrous earthquakes and tsunamis, Japan is trying to rebuild the country; thus it has a high demand for imported commodity sources and business partners.

With those good factors, when in Japan, Vietnamese businesses will have the opportunity to directly meet with Japanese businesses, update the latest information on the Japanese market, and access useful supporting channels from the Vietnamese Consulates General in Osaka and Fukuoka, the Fukuoka Trade Promotion Centre, chambers of commerce to find strategic partners and customers.

Interested enterprises can contact International Relations Department, VCCI, by August 1, 2011.
