Currently, BIOTED specializes in manufacturing all kinds of foliar fertilizers branded as Bioted such as 601 BIOTED used for rice, 602 BIOTED used for plants, BIOTED 603 as a super premium product for crops. All products of the company are recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and allowed for sale on the market. In addition to the breakthrough of the aquaculture sector of Vietnam, the company is constantly researching and developing new products and has introduced a new biological compound named BIOTED Robi to market for the use of raising shrimp, which is authorized for circulation in the market by Department of Capture Fisheries and Fisheries Resources Protection.
To meet the growing demand of the market economy, BIOTED has invested in infrastructure built on an area of 3 ha and production line, machinery and modern equipment for the sustainability of the company's products and protection from the fake products, which may affect the quality of the crops and cause damage to clients. Also, the company always focuses on improving and introducing new products to meet the actual demands of each region and be consistent with the soil type of each place.
BIOTED is constantly enhancing their competitiveness through investment in equipment and modern technology to meet the growing demand of the market economy. The company has imported an advanced technology line from Taiwan to produce coded bottles to combat counterfeiting. This is considered one of the most advanced technologies of Vietnam today in the fertilizer manufacturing industry, in order to better serve approximately 70 percent of the labourers that mainly work in agricultural and aquaculture sectors. Besides, the company also develops the quality management system based on the ISO 9001:2008 to improve product quality and reduce costs of inputs and product price. This is the "passport" that all workers of BIOTED are determined to lay a good base for the company to access foreign markets.
Throughout the development process, the company always pays attention to the development of distribution channels. The BIOTED's trademarks are recognized and used by the farmers and fishermen.
Building up BIOTED's culture
Along with the focus on developing efficient production, BIOTED also concentrates on caring for the lives of the workers. In addition to improving the working environment and ensuring the living standards for workers, the company strictly and fully guarantees social welfare for their staff, including social insurance, health insurance and accident insurance.
BIOTED also actively participates in social activities. During periods from 2010 to 2012, the company spent VND222 million building charity houses, contributing to the fund for the poor and helping poor patients; besides the company donated VND150 million to buy rice for the poor at annual Lunar New Years and contributed VND100 million to social work, sports and transportation. The social activities highlight not only the company's social responsibility, but also a good culture the BIOTED’s leadership and all staff try to build up.
