Dong Binh Garment JSC (DOBICO) was co-founded by two shareholders of Garment 10 Company and Dong Nai Garment Company in 2007. It is located in Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province. For the past years, despite facing many difficulties, DOBICO has enjoyed a high growth rate.
Founded in late 2007 and officially operating since April 2009, DOBICO was equipped in the first phase with six modern shirt production lines imported from Germany with computer marker, mark printing using GerberlauchPat, Necktra software and squeezer Pom Kan negiesser HKV2.
DOBICO involves in producing high grade shirts branded ArroW, Alexxander Julian, Colour, PerryEllys, Van Heusen and Giberto for export to such markets as EU, US and Japan. Some of its reputable customers are Sei densticke, Promi nent, Ellis, Phi Lip Vanheuse and Bodoni.
The company has acquired and applied valuable experiences from other large garment businesses, thanks to which DOBICO has adopted modern business and corporate administration management using integrated control system of ISO 9002, SA 8000, 5S and professionally applied production procedures in each line. Thus, the company has been able to control product quality, increase productivity, helping to improve production and business efficiency.
DOBICO has good managerial staff with high professional expertise, skilled technicians and workers who were trained by Garment 10. Especially, General Director Tran Van Khang has advanced from position of a worker to a group leader, a shift manager and now general director. He has gained much experience and continuously developed his professional skills for over 25 years, all of which, plus his creativeness and venturesome spirit, has made him a successful general director.
Over 3 years of development, Dong Binh Garment Company has gained remarkable achievements. The turnover and worker salary has kept growing. Even in the hard year of 2012, DOBICO still maintained the stable jobs for over 400 employees.
Bearing in mind the motto of “Human resources are both objective and motive of development”, Dong Binh has always paid attention to increasing productivity; thereby enabling improvement in labourers’ material and spiritual life. The trade union also regularly pays visits, encourages the sick workers and gives allowance to those facing difficulties.
Given such achievements and tireless efforts of all the employees in the past time, Dong Binh Garment Company has been awarded certificates of appreciation by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, provincial Labour Confederation and Gia Binh district People’s Committee.
