Mr Vu Ngoc Hai, Director of Hai Ha Co., Ltd, said Ha Giang province, with its enormous tourism potential, is becoming an increasingly attractive tourist destination. To tap this advantage, authorities have advocated developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector and defined Ha Giang City, the provincial capital, as a tourist city. On that basis, the provincial administration has urged businesses to make strong investment into tourism forms, including ecological resort - a popular form to other provinces but quite new to Ha Giang. This right policy has been supported by businesses. And, as a senior, experienced travel agent, Mr Hai saw this as a good chance to expand business. He had over 10 years’ experience in running Trade Union Hotel and over 10 years with Hanh Phuc Restaurant – previously the top accommodation and restaurant destinations in Ha Giang province. Therefore, when the former investor of Truong Xuan Resort wanted to transfer the facility on financial troubles, Hai Ha Co., Ltd boldly took over it and continued to develop.
