VCCI to Set up Vietnamese Enterprise Association Abroad

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to set up a board to call for the establishment of Vietnamese Enterprise Association in continents to assist overseas Vietnamese business community and form a network to push up export and investment of Vietnam to other countries.

This association will represent overseas Vietnamese enterprises to deal with issues arising in Vietnam and through Vietnam’s diplomatic representatives abroad to recommend matters related to investment and business environment as well as preferential conditions for Vietnamese business community outside the country.

The mobilisation board is expected to be attended by representatives from VCCI, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade and some outstanding overseas Vietnamese businesses. In the first phase, the association will include members of business societies already set up in Poland, Russia , UK , Czech and the United States .

Some activities on the occasion of Vietnamese entrepreneur day (October 13) are to be held as the basis for the announcement of the association establishment.
