Saigon Superbowl Hosts 4th Vietnam International Bowling Open

The 4^th Vietnam International Bowling Open is being opened at the Saigon Superbowl Centre at A43 Truong Son Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City from June 24 to July 8, 2006. This is one of the largest bowling tournaments in Vietnam and is held annually by Saigon Superbowl since 2001. The total prize value of the tournament is US$40,000. This year’s Vietnam Open is sponsored by Coca-Cola, Amara Saigon Hotel, Rinnai, Rossano, Evian, Star Face, Brunswick and Storm.

 

Some 100 Vietnamese elite players and about 100 excellent players from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea and the United States will compete for the prize. In particular, the tournament is expected to have surprises with the participation of outstanding adolescent players Huynh Ngoc Minh Tri and Huynh Ngoc Diem Thuy, who reaped high achievements at recent international competitions in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. This event is also a good chance for Vietnamese bowling players to contact excellent regional players. This tournament also features the performance of world champions at 7pm on July 4, 2006.
