SMB IT Centre Launched in Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnam Chammber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Intel Vietnam and Netsoft inaugurated its collaboration of SMB IT Centre in Vietnam at 83 Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City on September 28, 2006. The centre will provide assistance to local SMBs get more accessibility to ICT resources and consultations to increase their business competitiveness. The other partners of this project include Microsoft, Vietnam Data Communication company (VDC) and two local Intel’s Premier Providers of Khai Tri and Nguyen Hoang companies.

 

SMB IT Centre in its first 2 years of operation will role as the information hub to regulate demands and needs of ICT product and services among local business community. The centre will provide consultation service (either direct or via telephone and email or online support at www.itb.vn or www.itb.com.vn), on-demand ICT database & resources, E- learning service on how to use advanced ICT technologies to become more efficient, productive and competitive. There will be a showroom at SMB IT Centre where ICT providers are able to do product demonstration or business owners can come to test out the different IT products before making an investment decision.

 

SMB IT Centre is also among the main joint- activities under nation-wide project “Support SMBs in IT Application for Integration and Development from 2005 – 2010” which VCCI was assigned by the Government from the end of 2005.
