Vietnam-China Trade Exchange

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted an exchange talk on Vietnam-China trade ties at Rex Hotel on May 5, 2007 with the aim of enhancing trade cooperation for Vietnamese and Chinese enterprises.
 
Eighteen industrial companies from Guangxi Province, China attended the meeting. Mr Nguyen Duy Le, Deputy Director of VCCI HCM City, said at the meeting that “The relationship between Guangxi Province of China with Vietnam is very good and the two-way trade revenues reached US$1.4 billion in 2006, up 42.2 per cent on year.
 
Particular trade promotion activities are carried out by many provinces and cities. Through this exchange meeting, we hope that enterprises of the two sides will have more opportunities to explore the market and establish long-term relationship on the basis of mutual benefit.”
