Thirty-six “Golden Roses” honoured by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) are 36 lives of successful businesswomen. They prettified the beauty of the Vietnamese women in the WTO era. They not only know how to get riches but also enrich the society. The VIB Forum met and talked with four of the 36 “Golden Roses 2006.”

Do Thi Kim Lien - Chairwoman and Director General of AAA Vietnam General Director of AAA Insurance: “In business, I always remember three criteria: the first is to bring security to my clients, the second is to bring security to my shareholders and the third is to bring security to my staff to encourage them to exert their levels and competences. I am very proud of my happy family, a good husband and lovely children. I always know how to schedule my time to handle my business and take care of my family.”

Tran Thi Dao, General Director of Imexpharm Dong Thap Pharmaceutical Company: “Many people think the market is the battlefield but I think differently. With the belief “more friends mean fewer enemies,” I always find new ways to go and always avoid hurting others. All knows it is not easy to go on the new way. Since 1997, my drug factories applied GMP standards and many people said it was unnecessary and my company would go bankrupt but I was still firm on my way because I believed I what I was doing…”

Tran Thi Lam, Chairwoman of Hoa Lam Kymco Motorbike Joint Stock Company: “I am very proud to receive this prize but I always feel I am indebted. I always encouraged myself to try more to grow up to deserve the prize.”

Pham Thi Viet Nga, Chairwoman and General Director of Hau Giang Pharmaceuticals JSC: “The “Golden Rose” award is the recognition of individual efforts, achievements and contributions to the national economic development. As a general director and chairwoman of a company with nearly 2,000 employees which experienced ups and downs, even nearly went bankrupt, I tried my best to lead the company by my whole heart, improve my knowledge and track the market movement. Especially, I know how to accumulate the collective strength and maximally exploit creativity of our employees to bring Hau Giang Pharmaceuticals to a leading position of the Vietnamese pharmacy industry.”
