Inaugurating ICT Consultation Centre for SMEs in Hanoi
On April 9, 2007, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Hanoi Department of Post and Telematics and Intel Vietnam inaugurated an ICT Consultation Centre for Vietnamese businesses at 185 Giang Vo street, Hanoi. The centre functions are to provide assisstance to local businesses to get more accessibility to ICT resources that would help improve the business competitiveness.
ICT Consultation Centre for Vietnamese businesses is amongst the main joint-activities under national project called «Supporting Vietnamese Enterprises in IT Application for Integration and Development in the period of 2005-2010 » that VCCI was assigned by the Government.
“Local SMBs should reassess their business strategy and better understand how technology can help them achieve their business objectives as when Vietnam enters World Trade Organisation, local SMBs need to further improve their business performance, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness and ultimately better enhance their competitiveness in a tougher and opener market,” said Mr Hoang Van Dung, Vice Chairman of VCCI.
“We hope that this SMB Centre will be a trusted address for Vietnamese SMB community to get a further comprehensive accessibility and thoroughly consultation on ITC deployment related topics, how to take advantage of ICT applications to optimize their business processes and positioning themselves for future growth.”
