BIDV Continues Long-term Ties with AIG

The Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and American International Group, Inc (AIG) signed a memorandum of understanding on business expansion cooperation in Vietnam, June 28 in Hanoi.

 

Accordingly, AIG will sell insurance products through BIDV and carry out investment activities with BIDV in the fields of life insurance, non-life insurance, consumption credits, assets management, financial investment, banking services and training assistance.

 

Mr Tran Bac Ha, General Director of BIDV said, “The strategic vision of BIDV is to become a supplier of full financial services for clients, focus on developing value-added services, and become a unique destination to meet all customer demands for finance and insurance.”

 

In 2005 AIG began cooperating with BIDV in various fields, like insurance distribution in banks, and banking services.
