Italian Filmmakers Eyes Vietnam Tourism Potential
Italian filmmakers August 11 arrived in Vietnam to shoot Vietnam’s natural landscape for a film to air on Italian TV.
Donnavventure filmmakers are visiting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and remote locations in central Vietnam and the central highlands. They are shooting at sites in and around Vinh, Dong Ha, Tam Ky, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot and Di Linh.
The company will depart on August 22 and then head to Cambodia.
Donnavventure is admired by a large number of Italian TV viewers for its nature discovery shows.
The number of arrivals from Italy to Vietnam has been increasing in recent times, an official from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports said, hoping that the move will help the country lure more Italians in months to come.
Italy is now one of top visitor markets of Vietnam with the strongest year-on-year growth. (Young People)
