Than Chau Ngoc Viet Gemstone Exhibition 2007
On 6th November, 2007, Than Chau Ngoc Viet Gemstone Exhibition 2007 opened in Melia Hotel, Hanoi with association and sponsorship of Ministry of Culture and Sport, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Institute of Gemstone and Jewelry.
In the exhibition, there will be many natural and cut gemstones on display such as ruby, sapphire, spinel, peridot, tourmaline, quartz, and opal. Moreover, sets of sophisticated and unique gemstone jewelry and 200 gemstone inlaid paitings (from 60x80 cm to 120x200 cm) of landscape, portraits, and history created and carved by artisans of Than Chau Ngoc Viet will be introduced to public. On the occasion, Than Chau Bao Vat, a worthy ruby, will be present at this exhibition.
On this occasion, the Than Chau Ngoc Viet company will concurrently celebrate for 20th ceremony for the events relevant to the first gemstone mined in Vietnam (1987-2007) in Luc Yen, Yen Bai, 10-year establishment of Than Chau Ngoc Viet Jewelry and Gemstone Company and 5 years since the company first disclosed its trade secret about gemstone inlaid paintings to the public.
According to Dao Trong Cuong, General Director of the Than Chau Ngoc Viet Company, the exhibition is aimed to praise and hounour the gemstones gifted for Vietnam which has great amount of high-quality gemstones and pearls in the world. Through this exhibition, the public will have chances to learn more about gemstone and jewelry mining and creating industries.
