BIDV Named Top 100 Banks in Asia
The state-owned Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), the only bank has been listed among the Top 100 Asian Banks 2007 rated by Finance Asia Magazine.
The award focuses on rating the term of profit, in which BIDV ranked the 93rd with net profit of US$70 million.
In Vietnam, BIDV is the second largest bank with total assets of US$10.48 billion.
The Finance Asia, the leading financial publication in Asia, recognized BIDV as the Bank of the Year with the highest trading of domestic bonds last year. (VNA)
