Construction on the 125-hectare Ha Long Star complex worth a total investment capital of US$220 million was kicked off in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. The ground-breaking ceremony saw the participation of local officials and those from United Arab Emirate.
The project of Ha long Star, officially announced on September this year, is a joint venture between Limitless Group, Phuong Hung Joint Stock Company and LLC International Real Estate Investment Company.
The complex will accommodate a five-star hotel including 250 rooms and a meeting centre with a capacity of 500 people, a luxurious hotel including 100 rooms and a beauty care centre; 36 modern villas and 190 hi-end villas; 85 modern houses and 114 apartments; shopping malls and trade centres, cultural centres and a tourism and trade school. These all look towards Ha Long Bay, a world heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). Limitless has hired leading engineers in the world to design Halong Star in combination with traditional architectures, of Vietnam and those from French domination and Asian modern times. The project is slated for completion after five-year construction.
The ground-breaking ceremony took place two days after Limitless had officially opened a Singapore-based office to manage its operations in Southeast Asia.
