The 10th Norfolk Invitational Golf Tournament in April
The 10th Norfolk Invitational Golf Tournament organized by Norfolk Group tees off on Saturday 5th April 2008 at Vietnam Golf and Country Club (VGCC), District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.
This year’s tournament is a special event to celebrate 10 years (1999 - 2008) of giving at the diamond anniversary of the Norfolk Invitational Golf Tournament. On this occasion, we’re excited to show our appreciation to business executives and best friends for their support and cooperation with Norfolk Group during the last 10 years.
A shotgun start will begin the tournament at 12:00pm on the 18-hole West Course. Many chances to win incredible golf awards include four Hole-in-One contests with four BMW cars prizes. Later in the day, the award ceremony will be held at Shang Palace Restaurant, 1st floor at Norfolk Mansion, 17-19-21 Ly Tu Trong, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City and followed by a special gala dinner served by the outstanding chefs. Of course there will be trophies and chances to win many raffle prizes. Expectedly around 144 golfers will attend the tournament.
The annual event provides Norfolk Group with opportunity to give to a worthy cause with proceeds collected and donated to a selected charity. Last year, Norfolk Group handed over a two-room house, which was built from proceeds collected at the Charity Hole, to Mrs. Nguyen Thi A from Chanh Hamlet in Tien Thuy Commune, Ben Tre Province.
