Impressive with Tan Da Spa Resort
Located at the foot of Tan Linh Mountain, Ba Vi district, in northern Ha Tay province, where boasts Son Tinh-Thuy Tinh legend, Tan Da Spa Resort brings a new impression with a vast space of rough mountain slopes. The resort, around 60 kilometres from the centre of Hanoi city, is different from other eco-tourism sites in the province.

The main gate to the resort with surrounded walls is built with the Ba Vi mountainous region’s purely yellow laterite. This puts different impressions on visitors at the first site. Receiving houses and restaurants are built under the original form of Muong ethnic minority group while guest-houses are modeled under the space of northern villages. Director of the resort, Ta Thi Ngoc My, said “We have invested VND 10 billion to turn the barren land into an internationally-standard resort. The distinct feature of the resort is not high buildings but traditional houses like those in the northern delta region. Tiled and wooden houses with seven, five and three spaces gracefully stand by the lake. Rows of areca tree in front of houses, vegetable gardens, fences and brick yards all bring visitor a feeling of very old rural atmosphere with specific names such as landlords and e-peasants. The furniture is mostly made from rattan and bamboo and wood. Modern facilities such as bathrooms, TV, fridges and air conditioners are harmoniously arranged to make tourists comfortable, preventing inconvenience of old houses in bad weather conditions. Outside green space becomes more attractive with shadow of bamboos, banana trees, gourd frames and wells.
The Tan Da Spa Resort has a special service network like hot spa bath and mud-bad. Outdoor and roofed swimming-pools of 300 cubic metres operate with the source of mineral springs of 150-metre depth. Besides it also includes a network of mud bathtubs for individuals and families outdoor. It is home to Da Ong entertainment area including service like tennis, badminton, dart and karaoke.
Food at the resort is diversified with many good dishes processed from chicken, fish and calf. Enjoying food, Tan Da wine and landscapes by lake will bring visitors a new feeling of Vietnamese food.
