Work on US$5 Mln Entertainment Complex Starts in Central Vietnam
The P & I Co., Ltd. has begun construction on an entertainment complex worth VND80 billion (US$5 million) in central Danang city of Vietnam as part of its business expansion in the locality, the Dau Tu newspaper reported.
Located in Ngu Hanh Son district, the ten-hectare project will include villas, restaurants, golf courses, conference hall, hotels and other facilities, Gabrielj Bernabe JR, vice general director of the company said.
Once operational in 2009, the complex will help Danang better serve increasing demands of tourists.
Danang is endowed with enormous tourist potential owing to the advantages of geography climate history economy and culture.
Last year, the city welcomed more than one million tourists, up 32.2 per cent over 2006 and earned total tourism revenues of VND1.5 trillion (US$93.8 million).
In the master-plan for tourist development of the country the regions of Danang, Hue and Quang Nam have been identified as one of the three core tourist areas of Vietnam. (Investment)
