Vietnam Disburses VND12.928 Tln in Jan-April - Media
Vietnam reportedly financed VND12.928 trillion (US$808 million) for fundamental infrastructure projects in the first four months of the year, representing 15.2 per cent of the year’s target.
Of the sum, VND1.482 trillion was sourced from central budget, accounting for 8.3 per cent of the year’s plan and VND11.446 trillion was funneled from local budgets, making up 17 per cent of the year’s estimation, the paper said.
To curb soaring inflation, the government of Vietnam has lowered the GDP growth rate to 7 per cent this year from proposed 8 per cent-9 per cent and cut 10 per cent of public investment projects.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance said that Vietnam disbursed VND17.7 trillion for construction projects, accounting for 20 per cent of the year’s plan. (The People, Labor Online)
