Recently, VCCI has held a dialogue on Vietnam’s macro economic policies. The event drew the participation of representatives from ministries, agencies of Vietnam and Taiwanese businesses who are operating in Vietnam.

Addressing the event, Taiwanese businesses said that they have poured more investments in Vietnam than other countries’ businesses. The Government of Vietnam has created favourable conditions for Taiwanese businesses. However, they admitted that they have still met with some problems in Vietnam such as poor infrastructure, transport and lack of power, which have negatively affected their business and production.

Representatives from Vietnamese agencies said that the Government of Vietnam is striving to deal with above problems in an effort to create more favourable conditions for Taiwanese businesses and other foreign investors who want to invest in Vietnam.
