Vietnam Mobilizes VND3 Tln for Hi-Tech Health Projects
Hospitals across Vietnam have mobilized around VND3 trillion (US$177.5 million) for hi-tech application projects by late this year, state media said, citing the Ministry of Health (MoH) Tuesday.
Of the sum, the MoH-managed hospitals attracted over VND500 billion, including Cho Ray hospital with VND114 billion, K hospital with VND85 billion and Hue central hospital with VND43 billion.
The Ho Chi Minh City Health Service’s units, Haiphong, Hanoi and Quang Ninh have mobilized and borrowed nearly VND1 trillion, VND500 billion, VND100 billion and VND50 billion, respectively.
The capital city of Hanoi will need ten to fifteen hospitals to meet rising demand for treatments in coming years. (Saigon Liberation, The People)
