Leading Israeli Telecom Companies Scope out Vietnam
A mission of 15 leading firms from Israel will arrive in Vietnam from March 18-23 to look for investment cooperation and expand their business activities.
The companies operate in wireless and fixed equipment, technology consultancy, added value service management and distribution, managing software and several others in the telecom area.
The delegation includes many businesses operating in Vietnam such as RAD, ECI, Vocal Tec and Gilat.
During the visit, Israeli enterprises will work with leaders from the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications to introduce their products to Vietnamese companies.
Vietnam will open its embassy in Israel this year, the Youth newspaper quoted Aaron Abramovich, Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel as saying.
He added that the embassy will help boost the bilateral trade and investment cooperation as well as high-ranking ties.
Israel and Vietnam are tightening cooperation in the agriculture sector and Israel wants to deepen bilateral relations in high-tech and tourism sectors with Vietnam, he noted. (Investment)
