Digital Signature - Key for Enterprises to Join E-Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will cooerpate with the Minsitry of Information and Communications to organize a confernece for businesses themed “Digital Signature - The Key to E-Commerce and E-Government” on July 23 in Hanoi.

 

The role and neccessity of digital signature to businesses; procedures to apply digital signature; neccessary applications of digital signatures; opportunities and challenges as applying digital signatures will be performed at the conference. Additionally, leaders of the Taxation General Department’s Board for Reform and Modernization precsent the application of digital signatures in online tax procedures.  

 

The symposium is among a chain of activities under the Scheme “Supporting IT Application in Busineses to Serve Integration and Development for 2006-2010”, which the govenrment assigned the VCCI to carry out. The event aims to help businesses boost awareness of the role and importnance of applying digital signature to e-commerce and e-govnemrnet amid the world economic integration.

 

The confernce is also a good opportunity for enterprises to exchange and discuss issues involed in digital signature with representatives of State organs, experts and suppliers of IT products.

 

After Hanoi, VCCI will also hold the event at other big cities including Da Nang (July 30), Ho Chi Minh City (August 4) and Can Tho (August 7).
