Vietnam Welcomes 2.48 Million Int’l Visitors in Jan-Sept
Vietnam is estimated to welcome 2.48 million foreign tourist arrivals in the first nine months of this year, 800,000 tourists lower than the same period last year.
In August, the country greeted 315,000 foreign travelers, up 16% from July, said the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), adding that the increase is a good signal for the recovery of the national tourism sector.
Vietnam has not revised down its target of welcoming 4.5 million international arrivals for this year to 3.7 million-3.8 million as a result of a strong revival in the rest of the year. (The People)
