Vietnam Imports from Italy Down 3% to US$435.5M in Jan-Aug

Vietnam spent US$435.5 million on buying goods from Italy in the first eight months of 2009, falling 3% from a year earlier.
 
Among the country’s key imports from Italy, machines, equipment and spare parts topped the list with US$187.9 million, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said without giving comparative figure.
 
Finished motorbikes ranked the second with US$48 million and footwear and apparel accessories stood the third with US$34.3 million. (Vinanet)
