Vietnam Biz Plan to Build Bonded Warehouses Abroad
Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) and nearly 20 Vietnamese exporters plan to submit a project to build bonded warehouses abroad to the government to boost the country’s exports.
The warehouses will help Vietnamese firms to save expenses on goods storage and other procedures, according to VDB General Director Nguyen Quang Dung.
If the plan is approved, the bank and local exporters will build a bonded warehouse in the U.S. first as it was Vietnam's largest export market with US$8.197 billion in the first nine months of this year. (Vietnamnet)
