Vedan Hands Red Cross Charity Houses for the Poor

Vedan Vietnam Company recently collaborated with the Red Cross Society of Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province, to grant five Red Cross charity houses to poor households in Cam Duong, Binh An and Binh Son communes, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. The total budget for these accommodations is VND150 million. This is part of the company’s charity programme in 2013.
 
This is the first handover of charity houses that Vedan Vietnam has made this year. The construction and transfer of charity houses will be made throughout 2013 with a total budget of VND1 billion. Also in 2013, to maintain and exercise good corporate responsibility to community and society, Vedan Vietnam plans to sponsor other charitable activities like free medical check-ups and medicines, houses for the poor, donations for Agent Orange victims, scholarships for poor students, and donations for children protection foundations.
