The Huu Nghi border gate parking lot of Xuan Cuong Co., Ltd is located in a crowded driveway and equipped with modern facilities to serve the business operation of freight, passenger transport, and warehousing. “Devotion, wholehearted support, enthusiasm, mutual benefit is what we have been aiming at for the past 8 years,”said Director Le Thi Xuan.
Xuan Cuong Co., Ltd was founded in 2006 and is known as the very first enterprise of Lang Son Province to invest heavily in the infrastructure and parking lot sectors at Huu Nghi International Border Gate. The Huu Nghi border gate has a total area of 9 hectares that guarantee for 700-800 dump trucks in the parking lot and 200-300 buses that have pick-up and drop-off rotation in the gate area.
In recent years, due to difficulties of the world economy causing high inflation, rising input costs rise, and difficult access to the capital, businesses have been experiencing many difficulties; many of them businesses had to moderate their business activities or stop production; and a number of investment projects must stop and some of them are rescheduled. However, with the right strategy and creativity of the management board of the company, such the difficulties were pushed back. Xuan Cuong has strongly overcome the challenges and has renovated itself with strong move, along with the development of Lang Son province in particular and the country in general. Along with the current areas such as construction, manufacturing and trading of building materials, agricultural supplies, agricultural products, fruits, purchasing and sale of household appliances, automobiles, spare parts, mining of metal ores and other minerals, accommodation services, and catering, Xuan Cuong has defined appropriate steps in new business activities such as warehousing, transportation, cargo, passenger transportation through electric vehicles, and customs agency. The company also focuses on investing to improve the warehousing and facilities to packing the commodities.
Located on the side of the Huu Nghi international border which is very convenient for transportation of goods by road, for the last few years, Xuan Cuong has been taking advantage of the potentials effectively for the recent years. Therefore, the business targets are achieved and exceeded planned revenue year after year. In particular, in 2013, Xuan Cuong had foreseen difficulties they would encounter so the company took the steps to prepare in advance to avoid the negative impacts caused by economic downturn and continue to maintain growth growth, achieve the revenue goals and create 400 jobs for local workers with monthly per capita income of VND5 million.
With the aim of enhancing the competitiveness to integrate the economy and affirming its position, Xuan Cuong is now building their long-term strategies for the development roadmap. The company aims to complete the infrastructure, storage systems, improve the quality of services of the passenger transport, accommodation, and meals to standardise the Huu Nghi parking lot to be an internationally standardised storage system that meets the quality requirements of the storage and re-exports of goods, container, iron and steel, variety of equipments and cargos.
Soon recognising the importance of building successful brand as one of the key factors that contributes to the development of Xuan Cuong in the fields of business, transportation, and warehousing, Xuan Cuong has kept promoting its image through building the brand. At the same time, the company has also completed the organisation of management, focusing on the staff rearrangements in departments, and give training courses for young staffs that are capable, flexible and enthusiastic in their work.
