Sao Mai Group was awarded the “Top 500 Fastest-growing Enterprises” title by Vietnam Report Company (VNR) in cooperation with VietNamNet Newspaper under the Ministry of Information and Communications at the International Convention Centre in Hanoi. This event reaffirmed the strong growth of Sao Mai Group, particularly in the context of the difficult economy.
Sao Mai Group was formerly the small-scale Sao Mai Construction Company set up in 1997. After nearly 20 years of construction and development, Sao Mai Group has 10 member companies with 6,000 employees. The current registered capital is over VND2,800 billion and total assets are valued VND10 trillion. Engaged in construction, real estate, fisheries, food and tourism, Sao Mai Group is the largest company in An Giang province, a Top 500 largest company in Vietnam and a Top 1000 largest taxpayer in Vietnam.
Possessing an industrial complex, many high-class factories, a series of real estate projects and high-quality human resources, Sao Mai is bringing customers unique products and services like land lots in residential zones, built houses, frozen pangasius, high-class cooking oil, butter and fat from fish, recreational services, houses for lease, construction, consulting, and financial investment. These products and services have earned more than VND5 trillion for the group.
After 17 years of construction and development, Sao Mai has affirmed its strong position in the Vietnamese business community. Achieving an average annual growth of 30 percent, the group has become a leading professional supplier of residential land, houses for the Mekong Delta, a Top 5 producer, processor and exporter of pangasius in Vietnam, and the first producer of fish oil in the world. Sao Mai Group also actively and regularly participates in social charity activities. The group also received the Top 50 Best-performing Vietnam Company Award, the Top 50 Fastest-growing Vietnam Company Award, the Golden Fishery Quality Award, the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merits, and the Vietnam Glory Award. The Chairman of the Board of Directors was also named the Top 50 Executives in Vietnam.
