What is your perception about Vietnam’s market, especially the manufacturing industry and direction of ACME in this market?

Vietnam as a neighbor to Thailand is a natural step for ACME as there are several similarities between the 2 markets. As we are neighbor we find the Vietnamese market a natural step to go in to when we expand in to other export markets.

Vietnam has recently gained an edge over other Asian investment destinations with its low interest rates, mild inflation, improved infrastructure, friendlier investment policies and solid economic growth of about 6% over the past five years.

In additional, comparing with other countries in region, in Vietnam's favor, wages are competitive, with the average monthly wage at $197 in 2013, compared with $391 for Thailand and $613 for China, according to the International Labour Organization. Its population is younger: only about 6 percent is above the age of 65, compared with about 10 percent in China and Thailand and almost 13 percent in South Korea.

The investment and infrastructure in Vietnam is being focused. Vietnam's economy has been steadily integrating globally, which facilitates development and investment. More than 19,000 projects with foreign direct investment have been registered and are worth some $270 billion.

As we have a strong position in the Thai market we believe that we should be able to compete also in the Vietnamese market, still we know that the Vietnamese is well developed and have focus on quality and service. ACME stands for quality and service and availability.

The implement of AEC is the important factor to push up business exchange and trade in Asean region, what is the plan of ACME to serve the increasing market’s demand in Thailand, Vietnam and other countries in region?

ASEAN countries account for about 5 percent of global manufacturing (in value-added terms), with dominant shares in sub-sectors such as chemicals, food and beverage, metals, and motor vehicles. Foreign investors have a growing awareness of ASEAN’s value as a base of operations. Vietnam is the first step in the development of the ACME export efforts in the whole Asia region.

What are the key products which ACME will present at Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2016 and its highlights?

The key products are Release Agent for the Rubber & Tires, Woodworking and Die-casting industry.
