Entrepreneur Day in Coastal Area
On October 9 in Haiphong, VCCI branch in the coastal area organised the celebration of “Vietnam Entrepreneur Day - October 13” with the participation of hundreds of entrepreneurs from Haiphong, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, etc.
As the driving force in the economic development, Vietnamese business community is developing and making important contribution to the national economy and State revenue. They are active in the process of international economic integration and improving their role and position in the world market.
October 13 has been honoured as Vietnam Entrepreneur Day. According to Mr Phi Van Duc, Director of Haiphong VCCI branch, the coastal area has over 180,000 private enterprises, 3,000 State-owned and foreign investment enterprises and 2.6 million household enterprises.
