Logo for Non Nuoc Stone Craft Village

On November 25, 2005, VCCI branch in Da Nang in conjunction with Ngu Hanh Son district announced the final outcome of the competition on logo for Non Nuoc stone craft village. According to Mr Nguyen Cuong, Deputy Director of Danang VCCI branch, the competition lasted from August 8 to November 10, 2005.

 

68 art works by 32 sculptors from three parts of Vietnam have participated in the competition, representing different styles and meanings of Vietnamese sculpture. The jury has selected 8 prizes: 1 first, 1 second, 1 third and 5 complimentary prizes. The first prize winner was Ho Quang Dang from Binh Thanh district, HCMC. His masterpiece has become the official logo of Non Nuoc stone craft village. Furthermore, Ngu Hanh Son People’s Committee will establish an association and VCCI branch will develop a website on the craft village by the end of 2005.
