VCCI HCM City Hosts Meeting with Business Associations

On November 30, 2005, a meeting between the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and business associations was held by  VCCI's Ho Chi Minh City Branch.

 

The meeting, chaired by Vo Tan Thanh, acting director of VCCI Ho Chi Minh City, saw the participation of over 35 associations operating in Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting focused on discussing and reviewing the co-operation in enterprises support in promotion activities, and the plan for 2006; proposing joint programmes on trade promotion, training and seminars on disseminating international information. More importantly, the meeting discussed the preparation for the Meeting with the Prime Minister which is scheduled for December 21 and 22, 2005. Accordingly, VCCI has been assigned to generalise and report the result of ministries’ and agencies’ settlement of petitions and proposals of enterprises and associations, and petitions and proposals which have not been settled yet. 

 

On this occasion, Vietnam Business Forum Magazine (VIB Forum) will publish the inputs and comments of enterprises and associations at the event.
