Many Agreements Signed between West Bengal and VCCI

On March 3, 2006, the VCCI Branch in Ho Chi Minh City received a West Bengal delegation headed by Governor Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee together with over 20 officials and businesspersons. The Indian Ambassador to Vietnam was also present.

Mr Vo Tan Thanh, Director of VCCI Branch and five Vietnamese businesses participated in the meeting. The two sides exchanged information on trade promotion, in particular investment opportunities and business advantages. The visiting delegation introduced the investment advantages of West Bengal in ITS, processing of agricultural and aquatic products, construction and related materials, finance and banking and training consultancy. A number of agreements have been signed between the two sides.
