Teaming up ASEAN Chambers of Commerce

This is the subject of the summit meeting for chairmen of chambers of commerce in ASEAN countries held in Singapore on August 13. The discussions focused on the consolidation of relations and cooperation among ASEAN countries’ chambers of commerce; the active cooperation of the chambers to achieve ASEAN-CCI objectives; the benefit of the chambers after being a full member of ASEAN-CCI; and chairmen of the chambers’ signature of the ASEAN-CCI agreement.

At the 19^th ASEAN BAC (ASEAN Business Advisory Council) held on August 12 in Singapore, the ASEAN Pioneer Project Scheme (APPS) of Sabutek Group attracted special interests of participants. Ms Nguyen Thien Nga, Chief of ASEAN BAC Vietnam Secretariat, said Sabutek Group had asked Vietnam for permission to work with competent bodies about the palm oil fibre technology project with the objective of heading for recoverable and sustainable material sources.
