Deputy PM Assigns VCCI to Implement FIP Project

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem on November 21 agreed in principle the Factory Improvement Program (FIP) and assigned the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to complete necessary documents and implement the project.

The VCCI should heed Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ recommendations related to the employer and employee relationship in businesses during its implementation of the project. The US$239,901 FIP is sponsored by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the US Department of Labour via the umbrella of International Labour Organisation (ILO).
