"Vietnam Days" in 2007 to Open in France, India
To bring the Vietnamese image, to promote trade, investment and tourism and enhance bilateral cooperation with other countries, the Prime Minister on November 6 issued the Official Document 1792/TTg-QHQT on the organisation of “Vietnam Days” in other countries. The decision follows a proposal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Each year, the “Vietnam Days” are currently held in a maximum of 3 countries. In 2007, Vietnam Days will take place in France and India. The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to build their activity programmes and work with the Ministry of Finance for expenditures for these programmes.
