Barcelona Business Delegation visits HCM City

On January 16, 2007, more than 150 businesspeople attended the seminar themed “Business opportunities with Barcelona,” which was opened in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of a visit to Vietnam by a delegation of 10 companies from Barcelona. Attendants to the seminar include Mr. Jordi Portabella, Deputy Mayor of Barcelona, officials from Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, and representatives from Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

 

The target of this visit is aimed to tighten the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Spain and to open up business opportunities for companies in Ho Chi Minh City and Barcelona.
